How annoying is it when you search a website shop that uses stock control, see some items in stock, some not, order one that was in stock then 4 days later you get notification it's out of stock.
That has just happened to me with duke of uke store. Called them, and no apology, just very matter of fact 'yeah we sold out'. Order cancelled and no new fluke uke for me.
Not best pleased. If you plan on running a web shop, get it right. Duke of Uke now lost a customer in me. Which is a shame as a specialist shop that only deals in ukes really doesn't want to lose someone who is a fan of such an unusual instrument.
I can however recommend the Southern Ukulele Store (eBay) who are ordering one.
i can vouch massively for the southern uke store having dealt with them tons.. really awesome people.. paul tucker is the guy to speak to.. their stock is amazing, K, honu, i was lucky enough to work their stall @wukulele fest and played top notch ukes all weekend..
