I have had a number of people asking about N'Ukefest 2015 and they may well have bookmarked this page. Sadly there will not be a N'Ukefest in 2015 due to the demise of the N'Ukes.
Thanks to all who made 2014 so special. It was our third N'Ukefest and most certainly the best.
Sadly, I will never get to go there. :(

ReplyDeleteIt won't - sorry - its our local fest!
ReplyDeletewhere is this place?????
ReplyDeleteThis year Gail - it all takes place at the Cotton Arms, Wrenbury, Cheshire UK. All details on http://www.nukefest.com
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't make it you missed a treat! It was a brilliant event, so much talent on display there were moments I felt like smashing my uke and burying it in the garden! Even without playing on stage there were plenty of "jams" going on, and I went to sleep and woke up again to the sound of ukuleles all over the campsite!
ReplyDeleteEveryone worked so hard to make this such a fabulous event and it was well worth the effort folks, thank you so much for a terrific weekend! And all in support of two very worthy charities as well - bonus!
This is definitely a "must go" event for next year. :)
I have a caravan at The Cotton Arms and have never enjoyed myself as much in all the four years i have been going there. Brilliant jams in pub, fantastic playing from all bands and groups and solo's. Roll on next year can't wait
